I was at this place with high hopes which all turned down by this place.
Resort is very shabby and need urgent renewation. You will LOL when you will see the "Bunglow" Its hard to belive it is a banglow. Colors gone, hand painted walls and room numbers are all pathetic. Restaurant food is bearable, but if you are hygine cauntious, you would prefer to stay out. You can smell the plate and tell what the earlier person eat there. The cloths on tables are dirty and not properly washed out.
Room service is pathetic, you ring the bell 10-20 times and still there is no guarantee of you being served. Photo on Koyna lake resort web-site is false. There is no water nearby atleast not in 10-20 kms range, and the photo banner shows as if the cottages are on the water bank.
View of koyna back water is good, but not spectacular. Not much places to see nearby. Nehru garden is pathetic, everything is there but still the place doesn’t catch hold of you. Documentary film is ok ok.
Overall the place is surely not something that you can’t miss. Its better to stay away from it. Place will be good in monsoon, but then there are 1000s of places which are good in mansoon isn’t it. If you don’t want to waste your money, stay away !!
