One of the most beautiful beaches in Kerala if properly maintained. Just a few miles away from Kozhikode city, with such a perfect blend of all things. There are a number of good eateries offering snacks, Ice cream, Faluda with a sprinkling of restaurants specialising in Malabari, chinese, North and South Indian delicacies, and the walk in the beach in the morning and evening which makes your day perfect and complete.
I visited the beach with my friends yesterday evening, but its present condition me really sad.
First of all, there is no dedicated parking space. There is ample parking but its still difficult to get space on weekends and holidays. We had to park road-side which made it very difficult.
Secondly, the beach is now full with animal waste. Not at all clean to sit nor play bare-foot, and once it got dark, I realised that there are no enough number of lights too in the beach.
Was not much of a good experience.
