I had booked my KPN ticket online 2 weeks in advance from Pondicherry to Bangalore. When I finally got into the bus, someone else was occupying my seat. When I asked the KPN people, they told me there was a "mistake" and that they had booked 2 people for the same seat. (We know this is a blatent lie as all their booking is computerized and such mistakes are not possible. So they must have done this deliberately for some extra money).
They asked me to take the last seat. When I told that I have a genuine ticket and booked 2 weeks in advance, they were very rude and asked me to either take the last seat or get out of the bus. The manager in Pondicherry was also very rude. My boarding pass number is B287461.
They don’t have any complaints redress information on their site. I was absolutely helpless and have to give-in to their rude behavior. If you need a confirmed ticket, forget about KPN.
You are just paying a huge amount for a ticket booked by somebody else. I have seen this happening to fellow travelers on numerous occations. This time it was me :-(
