Overall this movie does not disappoint. Sure the script is a bit too far fetched and technically implausible(why would a female doctor be allowed to take mentally disaled men alone pn a long car journey) but if you look past that, its pretty engaging.

Daboo, the self inflicted mute, is annoying. Rajpal, Irrfan and Arshad live up to their performances. I always take an interest in whatever Irrfan Khan stars in as I dont think he would accept  a below par script.

Yes the movie has its flaws like the poorly etched out charchter of doctor sonali but the endearing performances by the leading actors really even that out.

watch Rajpal Yadav kissing Bapu’s feet and saying, "bapu azaadi 50% sale meh mil rahi hai, ley lo!" he had seen Freedom under garments being sold nearby. Like wise the sensitive scene when Irrfan bumps into his daughter and the trio wave at the girl when Irrfan says "My Daughter". I have seldom felt such a lump in my throat at a hindi movie scene such as when his kid draws a star in his and and shows him the paintings. No dialogues just sheer performance.

The villains all do a good job, looking suitably menancing. There are plenty of chuckle moments and a few laugh out loud moments.

At times the movie descends to a Priyadrshan type mega madness but somehow the sensitivity of the topic rescues it. So you wont regret the decision to watch it.
