I bought ktm duke from adyar showroom last year, after taking delivery of the bike I rode the bike for 2km from the showroom, than I noticed oil is leaking between the cylinder head and cylinder, I went to the showroom and asked them to rectify the problem, but they told me it will stop after some time, but the oil leak increased, when I called there customer service they told me they will rectify it in the fist service, after the fist service they told me that the oil leak has been rectified, but nothing has happened and the oil was leaking from the engine, once again called the customer service than they asked me to come service station to rectify the problem and they took one day to rectify the problem, after taking the bike from the showroom.
I noticed engine performance reduce drastically, bikes pickup was less than my 10 year old pulsa150, when I told this problem to ktm service station manage, he told me that it is ECU controlled bike so they cant do anything about that, and if I am unhappy with bike, I can sell the bike, he also told me he will help with sell and get me a ready cash of Rs 80000, for a bike which I bought four months back paying Rs 140000/-. I stopped taking my bike to service station after that. Do not think you will get a premium service by buying this bike.
