Selamet Datang

Selamet Datang. Welcome to KLIA terminal. Inspired by the Hong Kong airport design, KLIA has invested considerable time & resources to make itself a truly world class air travel hub in Asia.

True to Malaysia, Truly Asia’s theme, it has facilities catering to people from almost all parts of the world. Whether you are in transit of travelling to/from KL, KLIA has all comforts one may desire for.

The shopping options are not that great for those who like airport duty free shopping. A lot of items that you can pick up in India town or China Town are available at special prices in certain corners of the airport. Be very sure with your travel documents as the immigration staff is not very co-operative. We cannot blame them as they are flooded with illegal immigrants from Indonesia, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, India etc.

For Indians, you won’t feel in a very strange land as you can see plenty of Indians around the terminal as passengers, airport staff & airlines staff. KLIa has been strategically located to be a convenient terminal for many provinces around Kuala Lumpur apart frm KL like Port Klang etc. So be sure to mark some time to reach the terminal.

for single travellers with just a hand bag or backpack can avail the use of KLIA express train which will drop you at KLCC [the junction for sky trains] at less than half the price of the taxi. taxis are expensive whether prepaid or negotiated fares. Most often than not, the taxis in KL do not follow the meter for tourists
