Kukke Subrahmanya temple is trusted to be the most truthful temple in India. I know very well each and every corner there. It is my native place. I born and brought up in surrounding areas with the grace of lord Kartikeya swami.
Temple is located in the heart of a small village called subrahmanya, Dakshina kannada district, Karnataka. Temple is surrounded by mountain known as Kumaraparvatha, Kumaradhara river and forests. Greenery can be seen everywhere. Temple can be easily accessible through car, bus, train etc.
Temple is known for Naga Dosha parihara.i.e sarpasamskara, Ashlesha Pooja, kuja dosha pooja etc. Lakshadeepotsava, brahmarathotsava are the main festivals celebrated here. Garuda pakshi makes its appearance at the time of ratharohana.
Accommodation facilities available here. Temple authorities have launched website for the Pooja bookings for pilgrims. Now a days due to its holiness, it heavily crowded. Stone built architecture is very beautiful, calm and feels positive.
