I had been to kumarkom many yrs now, always liked that Food through my College days and most part of my bachelor life.
This is about a recent visit which changed my View once in for all.
I had Picked up my pregnant wife from Anna salai, since she was tired after work she Insisted that I take her to some restaurant. I Planned to take her to Kumarakkon because they have some of the Kerala Parathas in Chennai. I ordered food and waiter told me that it would take 20 mins to do the food in the Hygienic ways as possible.
I had ordered Kadala curry and Kozhi varathu Curry. I was so pained to see a cockroach dead in the Curry . Anger that my pregnant wife had the Curry first. I called up the Supervisor and asked Is this the quality they delivered after 20 mins in Kitchen. I was in no mood to calm and asked for the Manager. The manager said he would cancel the bill and thats his best he could do. All along I saw many customers noticing this but still careless Since no carcass would have been spotted by them. Still I didnt Care because the day they something they can be rest assured they get Infected and die, still no one would turn Up. So I asked the manager that I really want to talk to the owner and let him know such Bad food is served to the Customer. The Manager was adamant and he said We have cancelled your bill and If you want to talk or complaint you can do so by Paying the Bill for what I ordered. I left the place Frustrated . The manager lied about being all in all.
This Review is for all you folks going to Kumarakom Nungambakkam chennai. Please watch Your food while You eat. Theyve spent lakhs on Interior Decoration but if they just looked into there Kitchen and spent nominally and recruiting better staff. We as customer would ve such frustrations.
