I liked the movie. Because the story had a flow and could grip the viewer’s interest. It went along nicely and the seriousness increased with the passage of time.

Saif as usual was brilliant. He is getting better with time. And Om Puri was as usual. His role was very serious in nature and he never had to struggle to fill his character with the seriousness and gravity it demanded. And yes, you would be surprised to see a changed Kiran Kher. Somehow her usual animated way of acting had given way to a more pragmatic and effective one, which I liked.

I think she has understood that she was doing a little too much with her gestures and body language, and therefore could successfully alter that. The entry of Vivek Oberoi takes place after some time, and he immediately reminds everyone that he has not disappeared into nothingness. This guy still has talent and its for everyone to see. Karina Kapoor plays a role opposite to Saif and both looked good in the movie. Kareena’s acting was good as well.

The film is little stretched at times, but overall the pace is maintained nicely. At some places there were moments of suspense that will definitely choke one with fear. The plot might be a cliched one, that of the same old terrorism that has plagued the world, but there is a freshness in the way it has been presented.Sriram Raghavan’s direction is superb, and he proves that the hand of a good artist can put life into a cliched and overly used plot as well.

Enjoy it in a weekend, when you have time in hand and your mood is good. I think you should like this.
