Delhi - Kuwait - Delhi.
The onward nightmare:- Rude staff, bad TV, late by 3 hours.
The return nightmare:- The flight is rescheduled for 4 hours but the Information board at the airport is never updated. On boarding, one finds a spare cabin crew from a cancelled flight milling around in uniform, but will not assist passangers. Of course all the best seats ie near the emergency exits etc are reserved for them. Soon after takeoff, the spare crew changes clothes and everyone starts partying at the galley.There’s special food hidden in the overhead lockers that is constantly ferried to the rear where the party is on. There is an oldish crew member(he came out of the cockpit) who is openly flirting with one of the female attendent. Passangers waiting for the toilet are hearded off to their seats, rudely. Food trays are dumped on the seats and not removed till its time to land. No one answers the cabin attendent calls. The crew is openly hostile, rude and refuses to refill water etc. The TV reception is grainy and intermittent.
Example: I want my Coat hung somewhere.Answer: Then where will we hang our uniforms?
Never again.make sure you dont either.
And now with Jazeera/Arabia flying the same routes.there is absolutely no need to.
PS: At the checkin counter in Delhi, the fool interrogates me with apparent disgust or was it envy " Why do you want to work in Kuwait?".! LOL
