The goodTickets are cheaper compared to other major airways.Food is palatable... much better than what you would get on Lufthansa or so..(I chose asian vegetarian) I dont know about non-veg.TV monitors for every seat (eventhough some of them may not work)Most important, I had a closed ticket and still was able to extend my stay in India for a week without paying additional fees.The badCrew is not so friendly.... Airport information systems suck ....
Very incovenient at airports during flt changeovers, ... rude security personnel and staff.Lack of English skillsFlight delays are very commonThe uglyMy wife and kids flew from Chennai to NY via kuwait. The flt was diverted to some other airport without even notifying the passengers..(they say for refuel)The flt from Kuwait to NY was cancelled due to security reasons for 2 days and the passengers were not given chance to talk to their people at destination (NY) for about 12 hours.
I did not know anything about the flt or passengers for more than 1 day Tried calling Kuwait airways at NY and several calls to Kuwait country were of no use either. The staff were very bad in English and could not understand anything.Somehow my wife and kids made it on Monday instead of Saturday. They dont care about passengers.....I dont recommend this flight unless things improved drastically......rude airport staff, not so cooperative flt crew, flt delays, customer left in the dark, lack of english skills
