To start with, KYA LOVE STORY HAI has nothing new to offer in terms of story. Its old wine packaged in a new bottle.
Although director lovely Singh tries his best to keep the viewer engaged to the drama, he falters terribly. Not much seems to happen in the first one hour. It seems like a routine love story, with four/five songs flowing in one after the other.Even the comedy track between the two perverts should be deleted instantly. In fact, the comedy looks like a forced ingredient in the film.
When the focus shift to Karan Hukku you expect the drama to get far more engaging but in vein .The drama unfolds in a predictable fashion and also take a long time to reach the climax. And by the time the film reaches its end, the viewer has already lost interest in the film.
Theres no denying that lovely is letdown by the screenplay. The film couldve been one feel-good entertainer had the script been far more innovative, but the writers seem to be stuck in the 1980s time warp.
Music is okay. Barringits rocking, none of the songs are worth humming. Cinematography is good. The locales of South Africa are fantastic.
KLSH belongs to Ayesha Takia who handles her part with conviction.Even though her character is not well sketched, her performance more than makes up for the flaw. There?s a noticeable improvement in her acting. Karan Hukku has no role to talk of. Tusshar is just okay .
Do not watch it even if you are given a free ticket .
