Ekta Kapoor started well with her K serials, but as the days passed she had gradually lost the originality. May be because of so many serials she is making these days, things are not that much interesting to the viewers.
I’m a regular viewer of Kyunki... no matter what happens I don’t forget to switch on my TV just at 10 30 at night to watch this serial.
Even I don’t know what is there so attractive so that instead of watching MTV or Channel V while relaxing I go for Kyunki..which is more than a melodrama!It’s such a serial which has no perfect storyline.I strongly believe that the serial is created and built upon misunderstandings.
Among Viraniis there are number of secrets, misunderstandings, quarrels and so many other things that the serial need no more issues to keep it going.Let me take some recent happenings (not mentioning the earlier incidents because people have some more important work to remember other than Kyunkiii).
1) Nandini misunderstands Karan and Tania and get ready to marry Ansh
2) Tulsi misunderstands Karan, too.
3) When Tulsi realizes her fault, Mihir misunderstands Karan.
4) Now, Payel also misunderstands Karan and thinks he killed her son Vishaal.
These are a few of the latest ones which has enough strength to keep the viewers busy infront of their TV set for another few months.In EK serials you can guess a lot of things and wohh!!!your guess will turn as right many times.Lets guess and see whether it happens in the coming months (if not, hey..I’m ready to edit my review).
1) Payel is already in the trap.She believes that Karan has killed her son.
2) As Ansh has destroyed the divorce paper, Nandini is bound to stay for a few more months with him.
3) Tulsi trusts Karan and Sabita trusts Ansh.Thus, it’s obvious that these saas-bahus will have a tough time in the family.
4) Ansh will make some plans to stay with Nandini and as wehave seen he’ll be successful
5) The problems between Tulsi and Mihir will continue and we will get a couple of weeks more to watch the serial.
6) Ohh..I guess the love story of Nandini’s sister (irrkkk..I’ve forgotten the name) with Tushaar (see, the guy’s name I’ve remembered!) will be a part of the serial.
7) Gautam’s son (who is with him) might not be alive or might be having some physical problems as he is not well.
8) Switzerland police might throw Karan in jail and Ansh could give us a tricky smile once more.
9) Have you noticed that Avishek is getting closer to Shova...: ) So, what about a new story?
10) Ohh...enough is enough....this list will increase if I don’t stop deliberately.
Kyunki..started with a good thought, to depict the changing relation between saas and bahu.But with the time the storyline faded, characters changed, some of them died unnecessarily, some incidents happened just for time pass.With the season they change their concept I guess!But one thing is undoubtedly very good about it.Ekta Kapoor knows how to keep her audience attached to her serials.
This is a splendid idea.
Acting wise everyone is good, some are really very good.Special credit ofcourse goes to Karan recently.The scene where he was holding Nandini after the terrible incident happened to her...was very touchy and real.Karan-Nandini are real life husband-wife, may be that chemistry clicks everytime they act as couples in a serial!Karan’s acting certainly needs appreciation.Tulsi was better earlier, though these days her acting has become cliche.I remember one scene, when Mihir came back....on the set of her marraige with Anupam (guys guys..long long ago it happend....Tulsi was slim, trim and younger..do you remember?).The acting was great.Smriti Irani’s best performance in Kyukii...I guess.Some of you who can’t remember that scene, I would like to speak about something more.Do you remember when Tulsi tells Sabita about Mandira, that she is alive??The way she cries and tells...ohh!superb!
Talking about camera and makeup...well, camera angles are really good sometimes.Makeup is always at a high, which is a little more unreal.At night, or even at a hospital when someone is dying, how could people dress up so gorgeously?Everytime the bahus have proper outfits, good sarees and matched jhumkas, coloured hair, high makeup...so on.These things should better be taken care of by the director.But again, whatever happens in this serial, whether they look real or unreal, viewers will be attached to it.The rating will never gone down as its an Ekta Kapoor serial starts with her lucky K.
Ohh, I don’t want my review to be a cliche and dragging one, so it’s enough of it.
But, it will continue with time and Kyunki...as the serial progresses.
