These days u just switch oh the TV & to no surprise u’ll find som or other serial of Miss Ekta Kapoor. I see ladies sticking to their TVs as soon as the clocks shows 8:00pm.Just coming straight to the point i’ll pick one of these serials , the very famous one ’’kyunki saas bhi kabhi bahu thi’’. As obvious a Balaji product.
Well the facts are that this serial has created History & was rated one of the most popular TV serials ever made. The serial started of quite well & was a good time pass to watch. but after few months lots of mirch - masala was added to it. I dont know how come people enjoy this rubbish shown on TV. If one gives it a thought then he/she will realize that these serials are effecting our society slowly but deeply.
Let us take a simple example : the kind of the face of the evil shown or bad characters shown in these serials not really exist in our society. Even if such people or cases are in existence then they will be handful in number.
But with the coming of these serials, the day is not far when the no. of such people will increase to 1 in 1000 or even more. By watching all this on TV , people try to find these activities in their daily life.
This makes people suspicious of their surroundings. They will try to find such activities everywhere...The problems shown in these serials , which are at present are very rare will soon become very common. So it is my personal view that such serials should be banned to maintain the culture and peace of our society.
