For quite sometime I have been toying with the idea of writing a review on my fav serial KSBKBT(pl bear the fun), I firmly believe that T.V should be source a entertainment it should be able to provide us an environment where we can relax as well as unwind ourselves after a long day , give us space to forget our worries and look forward to life , well it would be too big to say that T.V should help us to grow intellectually or challenge our sensibility least we can ask is that after watching these stupid , inane serials we must not be mentally disturbed.
My MIL is of the opinion that Ekta Kapoor is depicting what happens in real life , come on where can you find so many manipulations , so many politics , from past 2 months I am unemployed and I m sitting at home as a housewife but touch wood not even for a second it came to my mind that I must indulge in the sort of politics, Ekta Kapoors vamps indulge in , pl Ekta Kapoor just because of u I have stopped watching Star Plus which was my fav channel once upon a time , now a days I m watching only Sony because they r telcasting only one of ur inane serial , I agree u r very progressive women , mam pl have mercy on us and show women in a proper light , because I feel women has much more to do other then indulging in petty politics and crying over Husbands infedility… but todays serials less said the better, atleast I feel very disturbed after watching …
Before saying something I would like rewind my childhood days when we used to look forward to our fav serials, Ramayana, Mahabharatha to name a few, I still remember how we had had some social commitment and we were forced to miss one episode of Mahabharatha, how my dad pleaded to my neighbors to record that serial so that we don’t miss, now life had taken a complete circle, even if u miss the serial for an entire year u r not going to miss anything I always make it a point to watch KSBKBT at least once in a year(no pun intended), last time I watched that serial it was in may 2003 , well at that time Gautam was happily married to Tisha and Karan was trying hard to force himself on Mihir Virani, after that I left India , well after a span of one year when I returned back to India I was surprised that story was still the same only difference was that Gautam had a new wife , HE GOT MARRIED FOR THE THIRD TIME(Indian Tradition??????)And quite a few new characters were introduced; well it didn’t make any difference Kyunki Serial Pehlae Bhi Bore Tha….
