Few weeks back, I watched La La Land and I was disappointed with the movie. The movie was praised a lot and so my expectations were high from it.
Ryan Gosling was as good as ever. Emma Stone acted well. But the pace of the movie was very slow. I found the movie very boring. There were some sequences that were pleasant like the tap dance and the night background in the movie but the storyline was not impressive.
I kept on waiting for some actual story but then there was an interval and I thought that I hadn’t seen anything concrete still.
There were different phases of love life through different seasons but the story in all wasn’t much progressive.
Unless you are a jazz fan, you won’t easily like the movie. I also didn’t find the end much impressive.
I would recommend watching the movie at home rather than spending money to watch it.
