Here is a five star pastry shop (that is what Patisserie means in French anyways) - with reasonably good stuff that they vend.
the tarts are nice, the eclairs are too. most of the confectionary sold out of here is pretty nice, at 5 star rates though.
the sandwiches and the deli type of stuff look a little stale, if you ask me. the samosas are a little overpriced for the size and the way they look.
the problem with this place is the staff and their complete lack of politeness. we were in a group, bought some stuff and tried to eat it right there. One would assume that is okay, because there is seating out there. however, we were rather rudely told (in a very museumish ’don’t touch’ type of voice) that we couldnt eat there and we could go out to eat if we felt like.
bottomline: go for the confectionary, and take them out to eat. and try not to visit them in the evening.
