First of all this is dust and water resistant for all terrain use. For mac compatibility this hard drive requires reformatting. Its awesome feature password protection which is built in. It has very long cable. I love the cover since many times I am the go as a photographer traveling and need my hard drive to go with me. I am having one issue actiually it is very quickly finicky cord. Iam not sure this is an uncommon issue or I can get a cord replacement but its extremely irritating.
