Lacoste T-Shirts are just great! I have bought many of them for my husband , myself and kids in Saudi. There we used to get in both 100% cotton and polyester materials.I found both of them good. They used to cost around 20 to 25 riyals depending on the texture.

The creator of Lacoste was a great tennis champion by name Rene’ Lacoste.He was the world’s top tennis player in 1926 & 1927. He won seven major singles titles in his career. He won Wimbledon twice, the U.S.Open twice and the French Open three times. He helped France win the Davis cup in 1927, by beating Bill Tildon & Bill Johnston.
In 1950, he was awarded the ’Legion of Honour’ for his services to French Tennis. Rene’Lacoste died Oct 14, at the age of 92.
This great champion of tennis, Rene’Lacoste established La Chemise Lacoste Company in the year 1933. He became famous for the Lacoste T-Shirts too, apart from tennis. He said , the crocodile demonstrated his style on the tennis court. That’s how, crocodile got it’s place as logo for Lacoste shirts. People enjoyed the crocodile motif he created for the shirts.
Actually, he started manufacturing Lacoste T-Shirts as a hobby , which later became very successful. We get now not only Lacoste T-Shirts, but other items like belts, hand bags, socks and various other stuff in Lacoste brand.
