The story starts with Munnabhai , our lovable gangster played by Sanjay Dutt, falling head over heels in love with the peppy, vivacious voice of jhanavi-- a radio jockey. Like innumeral real life listeners, Munna religiously follows her program and when a quiz offers him the chance of meeting his dreamgirl , He enlists the aid of his adorable side kick and buddy Circuit played by a brilliant Arshad Warsi who gives a whole new meaning to friendship and loyalty. The vivacious Jhanavi is the luminous Vidya balan who adds life to the movie with a sparkling performance..And then begins a tryst with the Mahatma - Bapu.
In his inimitable tapori style Munna manages to get the essence of Bapu’s path of Ahimsa and Satyagraha and reaches out to Lucky - the baddie whose not all that bad after all !!
The light melodious score is the icing on the cake.
