I must congratulate hirani for handling the plot so nicely. actually a risk of not properly dealing with the image of the great mahatama is always on. well done raj.
secondly, v v chopra has also done a commendable job for producing a film on "gandhigiri" when "dadagiri" is not also acceptable but is a status symbol in some part of country.
i m not going to discuss story which is so simple.go and see.............nahi dekhi to phool bhejoonga mamu!....hi! this is gandhigiri.
acting:
Sanju- good but not above the original munna.
BALAN- aap to aisi nathi! she is going to top heroine rating chart. done a good job although there is very little scope. she looks tremendously beautiful ( forget parinita) actually Vidhu is a habit of showing her heroines extremely gorgeous ( compare manisha before 1942.. and in 1942).
boman- single word----- excellent.
Arshad- he is the man who has gone above than his performance in the original munna...his role is not as long as in original but he has performed extraordinarly. in the scene when munna asked circuit to go and drop bapu he is simply superb. remember circuit is going to be a icon on the lines of sambha and mona darling.
although music is not as good, rather popular, than earlier version but definetly it is not bad at all.
i again say this is a must see movie that too in hall and not on vcd because WE ALL HAVE TO ENCOURAGE THIS TYPE OF DEFINETLY DIFERENT PODUCERS AND DIRECTORS.
