Amazin and definitely worth watching. Sequels generally are not worth watching but this one defies all rules. For a change I believed a film star when Sanjay Dutt said, "This is the first time I am asking people to go watch my movie cause it will make you a better human being." I agree.
The best thing about Lage Raho is its sheer simplicity. It seems like a tough task to get Gandhi morally lead the youth, but the director manages it with panache. And the best scene is one of the last scenes when Munna realised that all the thoughts were a part of himself and not Gandhis preachings. Yes, the good exists in all of us, its just a matter of how we interpret it.
The actors well Sanjay aka munna and Circuit are absolutely loveable. Vidya Balan as a glam doll thumbs up. Balan as a RJ-- an absolute thumbs down. Gandhi jee--- bande mein serious dum hai bhai. And Lucky paaji-- oh jee fantastic.
The sequence and scenes in the movie are all drawn from real life and the preachings are also totally believable. That is the USP of Munnabhai, and thats why you will carry the movie with you when you walk out of the cinema hall.
When you see Munna offering his other cheek for a slap and then ultimately hitting the guy, Baapu ne kaha tha doosra gaal aage karo, agar uspe bhi mare toh.... to phir Munna marega.
The old man who removes his clothes to embarass a corrupt official could easily be one of the most poignant scenes in the movie.
Could anybody else have played Munna Bhai. Absolutely no. The genuineness, humbleness and naughtiness could not have been displayed with such finesse. And neither can Circuit be replaced ever. Veeru-Jai, Circuit-Munna
In the end, seriously lage raho bhai...
