I mainly want to just write a quick summary-my purpose of this entry was to post photos.
I was quite surprised how beautiful Lake Louise is during the spring. As a frequent summer time traveller of the Rockies, this was a nice change.
The temperatures are cool -7 to+5c, but its bearable. The hiking trail along the lake side was in good condition, and I estimate that its hard packed with at least 1 meter of snow cover(judging by how buried the benches were, the trail was level with the top).
The lake is still 99% frozen this time of year, but however is starting to thaw out around the edges.
The crowds are few and the scenery is wonderful. Have a look at my photos!
