The Lake Palace is a hotel seemingly afloat on the still blue waters of Lake Pichola. It is located close to the city centre. Each room overlooks a lily pond or the terrace, and is elegantly appointed. The hotel offers a swimming pool, mini gym and business facilities and services. the lovely and romantic evening and glorious mornings were what I still have fresh in mind. the lovely water all around, the magnificent surroundings, the royal feel one can never feel so special and privelaged any where else. Service is excellent, you will see everyone dressed in cultural dresses, whoch adds to its royal touch. While it is not the most technological hotel in the world, it surely does offer its own aura. The service is terrific, but the location on the lake is amazing. I really loved the puppet shows & Folk dances as it gives you a glimpse of our rich heritage culture. Overall my experience was awesome, royal, luxurious.
