This is the shade of lipstick you wear in order to invoke Rekha of the 1980s - the Rekha of classics such as’Ghar’ and’Umrao Jaan’. This brownish-maroon shade is very reminiscent of the maroon lipsticks that Rekha used and which had gained cult status amongst countless Indian women. The formula and colour payoff are good, the smell may put off some people.
Despite a lot of bloggers giving flak to this desi range of lipsticks, I maintain that these are the best available in this price range.
