I’ve got oily skin for which i’ve always cribbed because I could never use any skin care products. They would just make my skin more oily and prone to pimples. I’ve had lots of pimples and their marks too on my face.
In my quest for a good skin care product, I’ve subjected my skin to all kinds of creams only to see the results as more pimples and marks and also waste of money. And I just gave up and stopped using any cream on my face at all.
When Lakme launched their Mattify range, again I gathered courage to try it out. I knew it was expensive, so I started with the face wash. I found it pretty good. Then went ahead and bought the cleanser and moisturizer too.
I felt like God has finally heard me and sent this magical thing onto the earth. This product is really amazing and lives upto what it promises. Ever since I have started regime of cleansing, toning and moisturising with this mattify range, my skin feels great, oilyness reduced and also the number of pimples popping out have reduced to 1-2 a month. Also the marks have reduced. To top it all, my skin feels soft and moisurized too. Its miraculous! Touchwood.
I have not yet tried the ice gel though. I am pretty happy with the results that the cleanser, toner and moisturizer have given.
When it comes to the point of it being expensive, I have to say, the quantity is a lot for the price paid. I’ve been using the moisturizer and toner for past 3 months and the bottle is not even 1/10th empty. The face wash is getting over just now, but then that costed less than the other two.
So my final verdict: Lakme Matte Effect range of products is a boon for oily skin.
