I have never been a fan of BB/CC creams and was never insistent on trying them. However one fine day I did after a friend highly recommended lakme cc cream to me. I wish I had skipped buying it, it is still lying 75% unused in my closet.
The problems with this one are way too many, I’ll enumerate some for you-
Comes in just two shades beige and bronze, with no shade that will suit anybody properly. I have fair skin tone with gold undertones and thus bought the beige one that claims to suit fair skin. However, its gives a whitish finish(or the lack of finish actually) and starts to oxidize within a very small time.
The coverage is so sheer, its useless. I know some people vouch for this as their day makeup, but believe me, it just highlights the imperfections in your skin rather than concealing them.
Doesn’t suit oily or dry skin well. Ends up making dry skin extremely dry(I saw this happen to a friend who had to remove it minutes after applying as her skin had become extremely dry and patchy right after applying). For oily skin, it hardly works. It’ll get oxidized and its presence will be useless soon.
Doesn’t moisturize like it claims, not even one bit.
Has caused breakouts for me.
So based on such horrible experience I have quit using it.
