This bridge is modern engineering magic, supported on steel ropes.
This connects Muni ki Reti side to Swargashram.
I used to stay at Onkaranand
( closer to the Muni ki Reti parking)
To attend Ganga Arti, mostly I go to the "parmarth ashram" by motor boat, you can take one way ticket of boat or a return ticket. You can save 5 bucks by buying return ticket, but boat service is not available till Arti is over, so buy only one way ticket if you intend to attend Arti.
If you want to see Laxman Jhoola, then boat is enough but I will recommend you to have a walk on Ram Jhoola bridge.
This depends on time you have, if you are staying for couple of days then manage to have early morning walk, at that time you wont face so many baggers nor shopping crowd that you will have to pass through if you are walking between 9 am to 9pm.
Yet, you and lady members of your group will love these shops, these shops offer wide range of gift items. You will feel blessed while walking on this bridge.
You can see stream of Ganga Maiyya both sides.
A little caution, even if you are in group, keep yourself in a line so as to allow others to pass on the bridge.
And, do not let your kids unattended. NEVER, Please.
Enjoy with friends, families and feel your inner self too at Laxman Jhoola .
