INTRO:
Lakshya was an alright film. The movie starring Priety Zinta and Hrithik Roshan. The film wasnt that hit, but I liked it for the acting and the songs and the movie gave a good example.
THE PLOT: The plot was about a a boy who’s a college student and he is not serious about his life and what he’s going to do with it. His name is Karan (Hrithik Roshan). Karan loves his car, CD’s and maybe SOMEONE more than that, Romila Dutta ( , who is his childhood friend. Karan knows nothing about his future and thinks that life is just a joke. While listening to his friends talking about what they are going to do for their career Karan then starts to think as well and decides that he would join the army. But he didnt decide this with his mind, just because his friend said that he was joining he joined. Karan took the exam without asking his father when he then found out that he passed it. As for his friend who didnt pass decided to become something else. Karan’s father eventually found out that he applied for the army. Karan saw the life that an army man is surpose to live, but he couldnt cope with it, so he leaves the army and goes home. Romila got upset with him and then Karan finally finds out that she doesnt want to have a relationship with him. Karan then decides to go and join the army again with a serious and mature mind. Karan then started to think clear and was successful in what he did. Everything he did started to change. Karan then takes part in a Kargil war. Romila becomes a TV reporter who reports on the war. They both meet again.
THE SONGS: All the songs were nice. My favourite point of songs are the wordings.
Main Aisa Kyun Hoon: Main Aisa Kyun Hoon the song was a song that describes Hrithik Roshan in the movie and describes me a bit. I am totally confused as well at what I want to become. Anyways back to the song, the song was nice and I liked Hrithik’s dancing in the song.
Agar Main Kahoon: This song was nice as well. I liked the acting in the song and the rythum of the guitar was nice.
Kitni Baatein: The song was nice especially for its wordings. I didnt really like the rythum of the song. It sounded too old.
Lakshya: This song was one of my favourites in the movie. It had nice wordings and related to the movie alot.
Kandhon Se Milte Hain Kandhe: This song was a nice song and the tune of the song was cool.
CHARACTERS AND THEIR PERFORMANCES:
Hrithik Roshan: It took him 24 years and 18000 feet to find himself! Hrithik plays the role of a young boy named Karan Shergill who is nothing but an immature guy who doesnt know anything about life and what he wants to become. Hrithik is a very competetive actor and through his career from the past few years now, he has been very successful in his work. I think he has done a good job in this movie.
Preity Zinta: Preity Zinta is one of my favourite actresses. She is a very nice performer and in this film she plays the role of a young, beautiful and smart girl who goes to college, her name in the movie is Romila Dutta. Romila wants to become a TV reporter and she is smart and sensetive in what she does. I think that Preity Zinta has acted well in the movie.
The movie was very enertaining anf there were some parts which made me cry and made me laugh. I liked the acting and the songs. The plot of the story is very different to other stories.
