The food took one hour to be served and the soup was too highly seasoned with too much black pepper. I sent it back and a replacement was finally served a further fifteen minutes later. When the main course arrived, the so called vegetable casserole was served with rice which was stone cold.
It took several attempts to get hold of the waiting staff and I finally had to get up and ask the manager to sort this out. Surprisingly it took only five minutes to prepare the dish again, so clearly this was neither a casserole or a dish that required lengthy cooking time.
The vegetables were obviously just cooked in cream sauce and should not have been called a casserole. They couldnt offer any reasonable excuse for the delay and didnt inform as to why the food had taken so long to be served and why it was cold. The member of staff who said he was manager tried to placate me with a complimentary coffee. I paid the bill in full and told the manager that I would not return again until I received a call from him explaining to me why the meal and service was of such a poor standard. Till date I have not received the phone call promised by him. so obviously customer satisfaction does not seem to concern the restaurant.
