I got a chance to meet the Evoque few days back. The new Evoque( Orange Colured) within less than a second brought the word WoW out of my mouth.
I stepped on the driver’s seat. The well sorted modern, plush cockpit welcomed me in. The massive Glassroof made it furthur dramatic.
The car started with a gentle movement. In a minute I took it on a wide open road, shifted it to Sports mode and the 9-speed Auto Gearbox came into picture. The acceleration was nice and as expected from the dynamic Suv like it, handling was superb. Paddle shifts made the game more joyable.Low speed ride was typically of Range Rover standards( Ultra smooth) .
And offcourse, it being a Land Rover I took it on the muddy road where its Terrain Response system came into picture and the car tackled all the obstacles with extreme ease.
Purchase it if you love to be noticed by the crowd. Its bit less in terms of space, compared to other Suv’s in its price range, but comfort is superb. And the main thing is that its compact size allows it to go through or to be parked in the tight spaces.The diesel engine will provide better mileage on being driven on Economy mode( recommended in cities) .
Its an emotional buy. Go for it. It will satisfy your demands.
