It’s been a while I wanted to visit a book store and take my daughter along with me. I wanted to get her the new’City of Tales’ range of Audio books which cost around Rs.350. I wanted to try out this new place called Landmark at Banjara Hills. I notice this store every day coming back home from work. Decided to pay Landmark at Banjara Hills a visit finally.
Entering the store I was amazed to notice how long the store was. It starts off with a video/music section, movies to a little authentic stationery section and finally ends with a glasses, laptops, PS3 section. I was also surprised to know that there are 2 more floors filled with more stuff(books, toys, etc.)
On the 1st floor, its all books, all kinds of books. The variety is simply amazing. Finally, I found out that audio books for kids were on the second floor and my daughter couldn’t wait to get there. We reached our floor and I was taken back to my old days. Toys, games, comics and a whole lot more. My eyes first fell on the new Archies comic that read - Archie married Betty "Happily ever After" The age old riddle of who would marry whom were finally answered.
Well, the audio book we went there was not available(in stock). Instead of spending Rs.350, I ended up pruchasing books and toys worth well over Rs.2000!
I wanted to visit the owner of the place thanking him for having such a great store that has literally everything for a book worm to a gadget freak.
It’s a great store and I would suggest everyone to check the store out for its vast variety. It will be worth the look.
