Heard lot of reviews on Lansdowne & finally decided to visit it. Despite not knowing the route I tried & reach the place safely.

The place is quite peaceful n you could really feel closeness with the nature.

Surrounded by mountains & I really love the slow leisure drive on the curvy roads of Lansdowne.
Lansdowne Cantt is the place where you will see Bhulla Tal(Manmade lake), Tip N Top( to view the Himalayas range), Churches( old british style design). The Cantt area is quite well maintained by the Garwal Riffles & nice roads to drive. There you will really see the Himalayas range since this is the on the high point.
Stayed in Shri Gobind Hotel: Staying cost: 600/-Per day & advantage is homely food which their cook.
prepared. The Owner Mr Negi is quite friendly & knows the area quite well n his advices works well regarding the area. The area has the proper car parking space. The surrounding of the hotel is superb. From the room, the view of hilly region looks quite impressive n if you are photographer then its tuff to resist yourself clicking the nice landscapes. I heard n found the hotels there which are quite expensive so found this hotel quite cheap n good. From there the Lansdowne was around 15 kms n route is very scenic n spellbound.
The distance from NCR to Lansdowne is around 250 Kms & follows the route:
Anand Vihar ISBT > Dabur Chowk> Mohan Nagar> Ghaziabad> Meerut
From there turn to Meerut flyover & straight to Begumpul & from there you will the board to Bijnor just turn right
Mawana > Bijnor>Najibabad>Kotdwar>Duggada>Lansdowne
Must visit Lansdowne n dont forget to keep you Camera with you during the Lansdowne to click some beautiful pics.
