If one is either a tom hanks or Julia Roberts fan, one can expect a heartfelt performance on screen each time one sees their work. Both coming together is something of a dream come true. Even at this age, Julia is beautiful and her smile still kills!! Tom Hanks needs no words.
His eyes reveal everything. His shock at losing his job, hesitant communication with his new classmates in a communication and economics course he takes, sheepish approach to making new friends, changing feelings towards Julia from teacher to lover to teacher to lover again, all turns of the movie gliding past his eyes. Julia turns from a frustrated wronged lady to a satisfied woman in love.The supporting cast does a fine job as well. It is a fantastic movie!
