India’s own melodious and evergreen singer whose voice is filled with so much innocence and sweetness in none other than Lata Mangeshkar(Lata Ji). I have never really heard a nightingale, but whatever description I have read or heard about, I think Lata Mangeshkar is a human nightingale. She has been one of the most dominant singer of Bollywood. She started singing at the age of 13, which was a real great deal during her time. She is classically trained, and the best thing’s that despite her age, even now her voice suits almost all the actresses. Because her voice is like a young girls, and not at all heavy. Also, the words on the song are so clear because she has a great command over Hindi and Urdu. None of the words face an accent problem, like they usually do with other singers.
Despite of being THE most senior singer in Bollywood, she is observed to be an extremely down-to-Earth person. I haven’t really heard her name being included in any controversy. All in all, she is a graceful singer, successful, with an innocent personality that reflects in her smile. She was also listed by the Guinness Book of Records as the most recorded artist in the world.
