I’ve been using the Lava Bold 5G for a couple of weeks now, and I’d say it’s a solid mid-range, entry-level smartphone. It’s not perfect but offers good value for its price. The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset which handles all everyday applications. However, it might not be suitable for heavy gaming or tasks like editing and photoshop. I love the displays and the battery life. The 6.67-inch FHD AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate is bright and responsive, making scrolling and video playback enjoyable. I love watching Netflix.
The 5000mAh battery easily lasts a full day, and 33W fast charging is a nice touch. With 128GB storage and Android 14 onboard, it’s a practical choice for those entering the 5G segment without breaking the bank. I feel it is one of the best budget 5G smartphones right now.
