Lawrence & Mayo scams the customers. Stay away from this rotten rip-off store. I bought one spectacles for myself on Nov, 27th 2013 for 3990 inr from this store. I’ve been using it for five months and all of a sudden one day evening, while I was trying to wear it, the left temple tip of the specs frame broke.
I ringed this store and asked them what to do and they told to bring it down so they can check. Next day morning I went there, they inspected and told me its user fault.(BIG FAULT OF MINE "BUYING FROM THEM") I have been using glasses for 7 years and never had this experience of getting one broken with such a delicate use. OK, so they advised me to write a request to their head quarters for getting it replaced(OK SO THEY CAN SELL THE ITEMS, BUT ONLY HQ CAN REPLACE LOL), which I did and i’ve been told that I will get a call from them within 10 days.
I didn’t get any info after 10 days, so I ringed them again asking what is the status. They said that the HQ accepted my request letter and i’ll get a replaced frame within 15 days(FROM MUMBAI TO B’LORE -> 15 DAYS TO RECEIVE ONE ITEM) I waited patiently but things didn’t go good. Again they didn’t call me, so after 20 days I ringed and asked about the status.
They told they will update and BAM after 2 days I got an update that THEY DIDN’T REPLACE THE ITEM AND SENT IT BACK(OK FOR REPLACING 15 DAYS WERE NEEDED, BUT DIDN’T REPLACE AND SENT IT BACK WITHIN 2 DAYS! :P)
OK SO THESE SCAM ARTISTS CAN PLAY SNEAKY TRICKS WITH CUSTOMERS BY MAKING FAKE PROMISES AND RIP OFF LIKE IN WHATEVER WAYS THEY WANT.
NEVER BUY AN ITEM FROM THIS STORE, IF YOU WANT QUALITY PRODUCTS. STAY AWAY IF YOU LOVE YOUR TIME AND COURTESY.
