I had an opportunity to visit Lawrence and Mayo show room situated on the arterial main road of Chennai called Mount Road(Anna Salai).
Their show room is quite big with wide varieties of sun glasses and frames. The show room is fitted with reflecting mirrors all over the sides so that one can have a look at the frames as to how it suits their face.
The main draw back on this show room is the price. Normal piece of a simple frame costs around 4, 000/-.
The sales persons gives assurance that if any mistakes in the glass they will change the entire piece. But the specs I bought had some minor problem in the power. When I approached them, they simply told me to wait for sometime and said it has been rectified. But when I reached home, the same problem persists and I was unable to use it.
When I approached them again the same thing happened and they did not change the glass.
So my sincere request to all who want to buy good glasses to better go in to a smaller shop than shops like this.
