Getting a license, doesn't make you a safe Driver!

Almost anyone, can pass a Drivers Test(eventually.)

That doesn’t make them, a Qualified driver!

A person learns to drive,

only after many hours of experience

on the Highway.

Safe driving, (I believe)Is alway’s

expecting the un-expected.

Just because you have the `Right of way`

doesn’t mean you will alway’s have it!

Alway’s watch out for the other Guy/Gal.

They may not be watching you!

Learning to drive in America,

I found to be easier for me.

Most of our cars here, have Automatic transmission.

Easier to concentrate, without having the worry

of shifting gears.

I remember my older sister in England,

struggling to learn how to shift gears,

with my father screaming commands at her!

Not a good thing!

In America, we don’t have to hang

those’L. Plates’ on front and back of our cars,

to let other motorists know we are learning.

I would have hated that!

O.K. Now a bit of car Trivia.

A BOOT(England.TRUNK(America)

WING(ENGLAND.FENDER(America)

BONNET(ENGLAND).HOOD(America)

WINDSCREEN(ENGLAND).WINDSHIELD(America)

There may be more, that is all I remember.

HAPPY and SAFE MOTORING to ALL.
