Took Learner’s License on our own to my daughter by attending test at RTO. Then approached this driving school because they are in neighborhood. ( We had bad experience at RTO as their internet was not working one day and computer next day etc. had made 5 visits to get LL hence decided to go for DL through driving school)
’South City Motor Driving School’ informed the total cost for training and getting driving License is Rs.6600 and they gave discount of Rs.200 because the learner’s license was already done.
They took Rs.5400 upfront and started the first class immediately.
The Pathetic time started next . ...Nobody turned out for 2nd day driving class as per the time fixed on previous days. Straightaway walked into the place but they somehow convinced us that they will start from next day. That too did not happen on time. My daughter has to travel and join college hence with all follow ups on daily basis still 5 classes were pending. Mutually decided with driving school that they will be completed and final license test will be done during her Christmas holidays.
She came back on holidays and this time too everyday some reason to change the timings and postpone to next day etc. Somehow completed the classes on last movement of driving test .
The fee was fixed for Swift Dezire car but these last 5 classes were given on small car (actual fee was less for small car) but when we questioned them the owner of driving school Sameer was behaving like Goonda - He started telling " don’t talk to me you talk to my father to whom you gave money not me " which was unexpected.
Now regarding money, instead of pending Rs.1000 they collected Rs.1500 stating that Rs.200 for online filling of application and Rs.300 for medical certificate which was not informed at the beginning. Though I paid this balance of Rs.1500 well in advance they have not taken the appointment for DL test. Again they said that taking test they have to pay Rs.650 to the inspector which was also paid to them ... because we have already stuck by paying them all the money upfront.
Finally the Driving License costed Rs. 6900+ 650 = Rs.7550. Which is one and half time of other professional driving schools.
Keep away from them don’t get cheated.
