I went with 5 family members from Delhi to Amritsar. Bus was in very good condition. AC, seats all good but for 50 seats only a handful blankets were available. While booking they advertise about blankets, WiFi, charging ports etc. All rubbish. They stopped at a dhaba where quality of food was ok but very expensive. I believe all travels do that. Still the journey was good. But while returning, we had to wait for more than one hour.
The reason was they had to get AC of bus repaired. Understandable, if it was communicated to passengers timely. Instead they kept saying that bus is coming in 10 mins. We could have utilized that time in dinner or shopping if they provided correct information of delay. The most annoying part was this DRIVER. Oh god, cant forget him. We were on the first rows, just behind him.
He continuously kept on talking in high voice, using abusing words in conversation. Yelling at passengers as he felt foul smell of socks. Threatening passengers of switching off the AC if smell continues. Above all driving rashly at high speed to recover the delay. He announced at the only halt that since bus is late halt will be only for 10 mins.
An elderly person was bringing tea for his wife, and he kept on honking for 5 mins as well as shouting. Upon reaching Delhi, he was in such an hurry that as soon as he stopped the bus he wanted everyone to be out in 1 min. He was continuously shouting and taunting passengers to get down.
