I got my laptop today they have formatted my laptop c:/ deive and installed thenew window but they have not installed the drivers but when they took it alldrivers were installed on the machine and every component was working.
1: For improper space visible on my laptop they have given a childish explanation that the hidden filesare there that is why the C: drive isnot showing the exact space.Theminimum hardware requirements for Windows XP Home Edition are:
• Pentium 233-megahertz(MHz) processor or faster(300 MHzis recommended)
• At least 64 megabytes(MB) of RAM(128 MB isrecommended)
• At least 1.5 gigabytes(GB) of available space on thehard disk
• CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive
• Keyboard and a Microsoft Mouse or some other compatiblepointing device
• Video adapter and monitor with Super VGA(800 x 600)or higherresolution
• Sound card
• Speakers or headphones
If I include the page file in it meansthe exact space of the RAM it will take 3.5 G.B. on heard disk my primarypartision is 10 G.B. and only 1.88 gb is free where is my 5 G.B. going I dontknow.
2.when I talk to the servicecenter manager about formatted my laptop c:/ deiveand installed the new window but they have not installed the drivers. themanager said that it is a non window machine please give the laptop back and wewill give it back to u in DOS mode this is not excepted.
3.and the treatment I am getting from the lenovo is not excepted I am a IBMemployie I am treated as external ordenary costumer and not as colligue.
