Lenovo/IBM warranty woes, time and again

I got a two year onsite warranty extension from Aforeserve in Feb2008 for a laptop purchased in Nov2007. At that time I was explained that once the one year warranty that comes with the laptop expires this new two years extended one would kick in. So effectively I should have been covered till November 2010. Today I called up Aforeserve (after having mailed lenovo support and being told that my laptops warranty had expired). was told to mail IBM support now and also that Aforeserve is no longer recognized by Lenovo! So dude who’s servicing my warranty?!!

Here’s the case as I explained it to the Lenovo guy on email:

Laptop was purchased on 4 Nov 2007. Laptop had a one year warranty initially which came with the purchase. This was supposed to end in November 2008. On 28 Feb 2008 I purchased onsite extended warranty for an additional two years from M/S Aforeserve (warranty document is attached) Per the extended warranty once the original warranty expired in Nov 2008 I was told I would get two years more of coverage hence my coverage would be till Nov 2010 (end of 1 year original + 2 years extended would be counted in Nov 2010 as 4 Nov 2007 was date of purchase). I have received service from Lenovo last year in May 2009 (the Call ID is- L92A0030) and at that time too I had faced a similar chain of questions about what warranty I purchased and from whom etc. The person who coordinated the warranty purchase by calling up incessantly and trying to push the warranty is untraceable now.

His contact details are:
