Lenovo has introduced India’s first budget 4G Smartphone A6000 which is priced at INR 6999. Lenovo’s flagship device was first launched at CES 2015 and brought to India. It is the first budget 4G Smartphone of India ever launched so far.
The phone comes with 5” HD Display which is quite impressive. Another USP is that it comes with 4G LTE capability. Despite having sharper display, it is vulnerable to fingerprints.
It has not been cleared whether its display is scratch-resistant. So, you may have to keep it protected with screen guard.
Design is quite standard and is 8.2mm thick, though it doesn’t feel bulky. With removable back cover, the power button and volume rockers are placed on right edge. Rather than glossy cover, Lenovo has matte finish on black cover so it doesn’t feel or look too cheap. With stereo speakers, A6000 comes with Dolby Digital+ technology. Instead of making background noise, the movie is played with quite audible and crisp sound.
Processor, Camera and Storage Lenovo A6000 4G Smartphone is powered by 1.2 GHz 64-bit Snapdragon 410 Quad Core CPU with 1 GB RAM.
The 8 GB internal storage can be expanded by 32 GB through MicroSD card. It has 2 MP front Camera and 8 MP rear Camera.
When it comes to speed, you may feel some lags while switching through apps. However, it smoothly played “Avengers” movie with other videos which were preloaded in demo variant. Both front and rear cameras have pretty decent picture quality.
When it comes to this price range, cameras did impressive job. Specially, the selfie camera shoots pictures with no lag. However, zoom option failed to give sharpest results on rear camera. Connectivity & Battery With 2300 mAh battery, the company claims to give around 11.5 days of standby time and around 13 hours of talk time. For a device costs below 10k, 13 hours of talk time is quite impressive. With this backup, the smartphone would surely stand out on competition. When it comes to connectivity, the dual SIM Smartphone supports Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi, FDD band 1, 3, 7 and TDD band 40.
The company did splendid job when it comes to specifications. Having 4G LTE makes it quite impressive, especially among Indian customers.
