To keep it short and simple, do not, I say DO NOT make your big ticket
purchases from any ecommerce sites. Especially a chinese product like Lenevo. Go to a local retailer
and check the out-of-the-box computer end-to-end before making the
payment. 30-day replacement is a fooling mechanism that ecommerce sites use
to charge a few extra grands from their customers. You will be given
all the possible excuses to ensure that you are stranded with the crap
sent by these ecommerce sites. Small items, like mobiles or books, are
replaced quick but not the big ones.
Lenevo, truly a chinese product in every sense. Out of the box product
(Lenevo All-in-one C360) has a couple of dead pixels on LCD-LED screen
and mouse does not have its lights functional already. These are the
issues on day 1. Wonder what I have lined up in the coming days.
But if I dare to say Lenevo is third class, FlipKart is no less. Flipkart is
a bigger devil and their 30 day replacement policy for big ticket
products is a scam. When I brought these issues to the notice of Saeed
and Amit at Flipkart, one of them tells me that they have a policy
framed up wherein couple of dead pixels does not hamper the regular
functioning of your computer and hence no replacement would be given
AND other one tells me kindly adjust about the mouse issue. Those pink
colored dead pixels are spoiling my entire experience of viewing on
LED monitor. Imagine your background is completely black with a couple
of pink dots in between. Bloddy hell I pay 35k to kindly adjust with
dead pixels and non-functional mouse or what. Flipkart/Lenevo sent me
this link saying that dead pixels are allowed on LED monitors and
based on their policy they wont repair it as well:

In simple english I was told to Go To Hell by Lenevo. It is all Flipkart’s
fault. If I was a customer in US, Amazon would have bamboosed the hell
out of Levevo. But we are Indians and so we have to take this nonsense
lying down. And mind you we are paying far more than what americans
pay for such computers. Still we have to live with inferior quality
products becuase Flipkart is spineless.
Now the situation is that I have to live with the dead pixels and
unlit mouse till the end of life of this computer. In other words, I
am refused a replacement and a repair as well. We can safely say that
Chinese are succeeding in dumping their reject products to we Indians
through our fellow Indians. I wonder how does Flipkart let this happen
to their customers:(
Truly a bad experience buying a computer and I earnestly request you
readers of my writeup to distance yourself from Flipkart or any ecommerce site and refrain from making big ticket purchases. Especially a chinese product like Lenevo.
