I have purchased Lenovo G500S in 2014 February. Since then, I have been using it regularly with good experience. It has 2GB RAM, Intel 2.4 GHz processor, 500 GB Hard Disc with 15.6 inch screen display with black plastic body, and weights only around 2.5 kg. So, it is quite easy to carry it while travelling. The laptop is quite user friendly and at the same time robust too. It has in built speaker with good quality sound reception.
I have been using it daily for 4-5 hours since last 15 months and it is giving excellent performance. The operating system loads quite fast and the processor is also fast. The boot time is fast, so the laptop opens and shuts down quickly.
Keyboard of the laptop is accu type, so it is always comfortable to type on this keyboard. It has inbuilt fan which is silent, so there is no noise either when the laptop is on. There is a HDMI output on this laptop, so it can be easily connected to lots of external devices. This laptop has also auto sleep feature and after a certain period it gets to SLEEP mode, so that the power could be saved. Battery back up is quite OK, once fully charged, it can work up to 3 hours at a stretch with out any hassle.
I have taken it to various places to meet my clients, and it never gave any kind of trouble and disturbances. I have watched movies, videos on this laptop, sound and picture quality is quite good. Overall, I am quite happy and satisfied using this laptop. I have purchased this laptop for Rs. 24, 000 and it has been a good purchase for me.
If you are not playing game all day all night, if you are in need of a laptop mainly for professional work, this laptop can be your safe choice.
