Pros:
Good performance for internet + Light office work ( Can multi task effortlessly. Win 10 runs smoothly)
Sharp display
Aesthetically pleasing finish
Light weight ( Weighs: 1.8Kgs. Can carry in one hand.)
Screen folds to 180 degrees
Light weight adapter ( Adapter is integrated into the plug)
Free lenovo bag ( Its the one with the best finish among the Lenovo 15.6 inch Laptop Backpack. FK wouldnt let me post a link.)
Cons
Build quality is fragile ( esp the CD Drive)
Key board has a delicate feel. Makes louder clicks than a typical laptop keyboard.
Right side palm-rest gets a bit warm ( Guess the exhaust pipe from the CPU fan ends there. Ref: Lenovo IdeaPad 100-15iby - Disassembly and cleaning video on Youtube)
What is different from pics & info on the page:
DVD-RW drive ( My laptop has one! )
Power button is located on the left side ( its not a big problem really)
Lenovo logos are darker ( inner logo is black)
The texture of the laptop especially on the inner side
Overall, it think its a good deal as compared to 14inch laptops available at this price point. I am satisfied with the purchase & will recommend it to anyone looking for laptop in the range of Rs 25K to 30K.
Score: 4/5 ( 1 point deducted deducted for fragile build quality)
