The lenovo ideapad 510 is a multimedia laptop that features Intels 5th Generation CPUs. It comes at a price range of 63, 000 rupees in India. The lenovos design and plastic body doesnt exactly feels premium and despite of this there is quite a flex in the body.
The full-HD Glare 15.23 inch display produces good colours and sharp text however brightness is too low, even when maxed out. The display can be pushed all the way back to give you more flexibility.
It has a good selection of USB ports but they lack in quantity. The keyboard backlight keys provide nice feedback but the wierd placement of the right shift key feels inconvinient to use. The trackpad isnt responsive enough and its a but tricky to get multi touch gestures to work well all the time.
This is the base version which is powered by Intel Core i5 7200 new CPU, 8 GB of Ram, 1 tb of hardisk and an Nvidia gt 750 gpu. There is also windows 8 home as the usual variety of lenovo apps.
It has average build quality, the display brightness feels low, wierd Shift key placement and a weaker battery life.
These factors doesnt contribute much to buy this laptop and pay such a huge amount.
