I had purchased a Lenovo Laptop G 50-30 on 15th October 2014. It is still under warranty. When today I called Lenovo customer support for on-site support to rectify some fault developed, Lenovo customer support refused to register the complaint because I have upgraded my laptop from windows 8.1 to windows 10.
As per them, they will only provide on-site support if I re-install windows 8.1 and the fault still stay in windows 8.1.
For any software support they will not visit on-site but I have to take the laptop to their service centre. I have two more laptops from HP and both of them were upgraded from windows 8.1 to windows 10. But HP have never refused to provide on-site support because of that.
This shows HP is far more customer friendly than Lenovo, a Chinese company. So Indian public should stay away to buy any product from this fraud company.
