Light. Powerful. Economical

It is one of the best phones available in the market today.

Display:

5.5 inch full hd IPS 1080P display.

vibrant, vivid & accurate colors.

Camera:

Good pics can be clicked via the back camera, front cam is okayish, but not very effective during night.

Camera modes are not satisfactory, othera apps such as OpenCamera, or candy cam are required for more functions and better quality.

Sound:

Output quality is excellent but isn’t loud enough. Input is accurate & call quality is excellent.

Doesn’t have earphones included:(

Performance:

Although many believ that this a hardcore gaming device, in my experience it is not true. Software optimisation isn’t good enough so MediaTek chipset heats a lot & the 2 gb ram doesn’t feel sufficient when gaming & multitasking.

Asphalt 8 gives lag in high settings.

Phones heats up after 10mins of gaming & then starts giving serious lag which frustrates me.

Day to day activities are easily handled.

Battery:

Full hd display drains battery while gaming.

For a moderate user it would easily last a day.

Others:

Light in weight sp very convineant to carry and use, even during night in bed for chatting.

VibeUI is very RAM hungry, only about 400 mb of it is available when no app is running out of the 2gb.

Also, it doesn’t look good at all.

Screen Off gestures such as tap to wake work very well.

Indian version requires pc for proper rooting of the device.

Conclusion: For a moderate day to day user, it is a very convineant choice at the budget of around of 10k. Plus, Lenovo has many service centres worldwide.

For a power user, Coolpad Note 3 is the way to go right now.
